Dhamar governor visits western coast’s IDPs camp
DHAMAR, June 26 (YPA) – Dhamar governor Mohammad Al-Makdashi on Tuesday visited the camp of families of internally displaced persons (IDPs) escaping from western coast, which witness escalation of the US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces.
During the visit the camp, established by the Yemeni Red Crescent, the governor affirmed the importance of unifying all efforts for alleviating the IDPs suffering and provide humanitarian aid to them.
“During the last days more than 1500 families of IDPs’ arrived to Dhamar,” he said in a statement to SABA.
He called on the local and international organizations to provide food and shelter materials to the IDPs.
