Violent clashes renewed in Abyan

BAYDA, Oct. 25 (YPA) – Violent clashes renewed on Tuesday between Sanaa forces and armed groups affiliated with the UAE, in the mountainous range separating the provinces of Abyan and Bayda, after a calm that lasted for more than a year.

Sources fimalir with the matter said armed elements of the Saudi-UAE coalition forces launched a new military attack from their positions in Lawder district of Abyan towards the Sana’a forces’ sites in Mukayras district of Bayda.

The sources reported that battles described as “the fiercest” are currently taking place between the two parties in Aqaba Thera, in which various types of medium and heavy weapons are used.
