HADRAMOUT, Oct. 25 (YPA) – The Islah Party, the wing of the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen, on Tuesday hinted to form a military council in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.
The Islah aimed through this move to impose a new reality in the oil-rich province of Hadramout in the east of the country, and this coincides with the movements of its opponents to exterminate it from its last strongholds there.
Southern media reported, quoting Abdulsalam Battis, who is close to the leader in the Islah Party, Salah Battis, that a Hadrami force is currently being formed in preparation for the announcement of a military council in Hadramout.
The formation of a new force by Islah, despite it maintaining the largest force there, indicates a change in its strategy in confronting its opponents from clashing to circumventing them.
