Mother gives birth to triplets in Taiz

TAIZ, Oct. 23 (YPA) – A medical team at Al-Wahda Maternity and Childhood Hospital in the Salah district of Taiz governorate succeeded today in performing a caesarean section on a mother in her 20s, who gave birth to triplets, two females and a male.

In a statement to Yemen News Agency ( Saba),  Dr. Anis Saleh, a specialist in general surgery, explained that the caesarean section was performed successfully, and the mother and triplets are in good health, and their condition is stable.

The new born babies were transferred to the nursery department of the hospital, he said.

The director of the hospital, Dr. Hamoud Al-Qaareh, pointed to the efforts exerted by the hospital in providing medical services to cases coming from various directorates, and the developments in performance and equipment modernization.
