Several explosions heard across Kiev

WOELD, Oct. 17 (YPA) – Several explosions were reportedly heard on Monday morning, in the center of the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, the city Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.

According to Ukrainian media, there are explosions in Kiev, and air raid sirens sounded across the city.

In addition, a state of air alert has been declared in Kiev and in seven other regions of Ukraine. There were also reports of fires in infrastructure facilities in the city of Nikolaev.
