2 passengers died, 47 others injured in passenger bus accident on line linking Lahj, Taiz

LAHJ, Oct. 16 (YPA) – An old man and a woman died and more than 45 others were seriously injured in an accident when a passenger bus overturned on the line connecting the provinces of Lahj and Taiz, private sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources confirmed that a mass transport bus overturned in the village of Dhamran in the district of Qubayta, which led to the death of a man and a woman and more than 45 others were wounded, including 20 seriously injured.

The rescue teams were able to rescue the injured to Al-Raheda hospital, the sources added.
