IRGC arrests man spying for Israeli entity

SANAA, Oct. 11 (YPA) – A man “spying for the Zionist entity” was arrested on Tuesday in Iran’s central city of Kerman by the Iranian intelligence agency for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

“A person was arrested in Kerman province on charges of spying for Israeli intelligence,” the chief prosecutor of the province, Ibrahim Hamidi, said in a statement.

Hamidi added, “The accused was intending to carry out anti -security measures and sabotage operations in the province, but with the vigilance of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Intelligence services, this conspiracy was thwarted.”

The Iranian official indicated that the arrested person was active in the country under the guise of self -employment and business.
