SANAA, Oct. 05 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, on Wednesday called for correcting the curricula in Arab and Islamic universities.
“We must have a real and conscious view and correct the curricula, as the curricula of many Arab and Islamic universities do not follow the fixed and correct Mohammedian way,” Al-Houthi explained, during the festive event organized by Sanaa University on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday anniversary.
He affirmed that awareness of the nation’s issues should stem from universities, their professors, and all their employees.
“Celebrating the Messenger of Allah, glorifying him and revering him is a duty on every Muslim,” al-Houthi said, stressing the necessity of linking to the Noble Qur’an to achieve hegemony over all books and to start returning to it from universities.
The Supreme Political Council Member praised the role of Sanaa University and its recent steps despite the distortion directed at it by the aggression coalition, urging its members to continue correction and advancement in education.
