Salvation Government celebrates 60th anniversary of September 26 revolution

SANAA, Sept. 26 (YPA) – The National Salvation Government in Sanaa on Monday organized a rhetorical and artistic ceremony on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the September 26 revolution, attended by members of the Supreme Political Council, Sultan al-Sami’e, Jaber al-Wahbani, and Mohammed al-Nua’imi.

In the ceremony, Al-Sami’e stressed the importance of the cohesion of Yemenis of all stripes, orientations and sects under the leadership of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to achieve the goals of the September 26 and October 14 revolutions and liberate all provinces that are under occupation today.

He made it clear that “the unity is here to stay, and it will not be neglected, out of loyalty to the thousands of Yemeni martyrs who sacrificed for it.”

For his part, Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor noted the greatness of the occasion, which all Yemeni people celebrate, what has been achieved during the 60 years of the revolution for the sons of the country, as well as the failures it witnessed due to internal and external factors.

The Prime Minister explained in this regard that “one of the main reasons for the failures was the hostile position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to this revolution since the first day of its birth.”

Dr. bin Habtoor affirmed that Saudi Arabia did not and will not accept a free national regime in Yemen, and that is why, sixty years ago, it stood against the republican regime, and currently against the September 21 revolution.

He stressed that all internal parties and forces are concerned with maintaining the internal front cohesion, because undermining it is among the main goals that the aggression coalition countries, specifically Saudi Arabia and the UAE and from behind them America and Britain, are betting on.
