Syrian: Number of ISIS operatives escaped from Raqqa Central Prison

RAQQA, Sept. 26 (YPA) – A number of ISIS elements have escaped from Raqqa Central Prison, which is under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)’s militia, Syrian media reported on Monday .

According to the reports, the SDF’s militia has arrested a number of judges working in its judiciary in the so-called Social Justice Council in Raqqa city.

Last June, Raqqa Central Prison witnessed the escape of 3 members of the terrorist organization, including a leader, while the SDF militia denied their escape.

Raqqa Central Prison, which is controlled by the SDF militia, houses thousands of members of the Islamic State terror group.
