Islah militia open fire at truck’s driver in Taiz

TAIZ, Sept. 25 (YPA) – Islah militias on Sunday opened fire at one of trucks on highway of Al-Misrakh area, south of Taiz province.

Local sources in the region confirmed that gunmen from “35 Brigade”, which was controlled by Islah during the past period, shot at a truck of one of the citizens who was on the highway, demanding him to pay royalties.

The sources explained that the militants stopped the truck driver on the public road and threatened him with murder.

The militants detained the truck on the instructions of Islah Brigade Command.
