Russia: Armed forces shoot down three Ukrainian fighter jets and 19 drones

MOSCOW, Sept. 24 (YPA) – The Russian forces destroyed during the past 24 hours hundreds of Ukrainian military sites, including command centers and military equipment, in addition to the downing of three fighter jets and 19 drones.

“More than 220 Ukrainian soldiers were eliminated in a high-precision strike by the Russian Air Force on units of the 81st Ukrainian Air Brigade in the city of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said on Friday.

Konashenkov added that more than 190 militants and 12 units of military equipment were destroyed as a result of the Russian aerospace forces’ targeting of the locations of the tactical group “Chaika” and the temporary deployment points of the Ukrainian Nazi battalions “Skif”, “Dnepr” and “Gebard” in the vicinity of the city of Zaporozhye.

He added that the Russian air defense systems also shot down 19 Ukrainian drones In the past 24 hours.
