Parliament reviews report on suffering of Yemeni students studying abroad
SANAA, Sept. 18 (YPA) – The House of Representatives discussed on Sunday a report on the suffering of Yemeni students on scholarships to study abroad.
In a session, headed on Sunday by deputy Parliament speaker, Abdul Rahman Hussein al-Juma`i, reviewed the report of the joint committee of the Higher Education, Youth and Sports Committees, and Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, regarding the suffering of Yemeni students on scholarships to study abroad.
The report included a briefing on the reality of the statements issued by the students who reviewed their tragic conditions through the repeated protest rallies that they carried out in front of the embassies and attachés of the Republic of Yemen, which is run by the government backed by the Saudi-led coalition in a number of scholarship countries, including Egypt, Jordan, India, Algeria, Germany, Russia, Malaysia, Morocco, Poland, and other countries to demand paying their financial dues suspended since 2021.
