US expert: 90 million people would die in the first two hours of the nuclear war

WORLD, Sept. 18 (YPA) – The American expert, Alex Glaser has warned of the danger of the upcoming nuclear war for the whole world.

He pointed out that the exchange of nuclear strikes will have serious consequences.

Newsweek quoted Glazer as saying it was certain that about 90 million people would die in the first two hours of the nuclear war.

He pointed out that society may face economic and social collapse, while the nuclear winter will exacerbate the catastrophe that could kill up to 80 percent of humanity.

On the other hand, Russian President Vladimir Putin had earlier called for preventing the outbreak of a nuclear war.

He stressed that there is no winner in nuclear war.
