Coalition forces violate Yemen armistice 183 times within 24 hours

PROVINCES, Sept. 17 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces committed 183 violations of the UN-brokered humanitarian and military truce, during the past 24 hours.

A military source reported on Friday that the violations included 64 violations by the flight of armed reconnaissance and spy planes in the airspace of the provinces of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, Hodeida, Dhalea and the border fronts.

The source indicated that the coalition mercenaries committed a breach by missile strikes on the army and committee sites in Hays district of Hodeida, and seven violations with air strikes by armed reconnaissance aircraft on the homes of citizens and the sites of the army and the popular committees in the west of Hays.

He added that three violations were committed by creating fortifications in the east of Mastour Farm and Siraj Farm in Al -Jabaliya area in Al -Tuhita district and in the southwest of the village of Al-Sard in Hays in Hodeida province.

The source confirmed the monitoring of 76 violations by gunfire at the homes of citizens, army sites and the popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, and Hodeida, and in the fronts of the border.

The source reported that 32 violations were registered with artillery shelling by mercenaries on the provinces of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, and Hodeida, and on the fronts behind the border, as well as targeting the sites of the army and the popular committees in the eastern Ballal, Malaa and Al-Brazara areas in the Marib.

Artillery shelling also targeted army and committee sites in Al-Kadha and Maqbna in Taiz province, as well as in Haradh, Bani Hassan, Al-Mazraq and Al-Tina areas in Hajjah provinces, and the army and popular committee positions in Al-Madafin and Al-Malahidh areas in Saada province, according to the source.

The source added that intense artillery shelling of the mercenaries targeted the positions of the army and the popular committees in the north-east of Hays in Hodeida, and in Al-Amoud in Wadi Jarrah and separate areas in Najran.
