President Al-Mashat congratulates Interior Ministry on success of majestic parade “Lahum Al-Amn”

SANAA, Sept. 16 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Thursday congratulated the Interior Ministry’s leadership for the success of the majestic parade “Lahum Al-Amn”, in which various security formations participated.

President Al-Mashat praised the Ministry’s achievements in fortifying the home front, and the high level it achieved in controlling crime, restoring rights to citizens and establishing the pillars of security and stability.

He affirmed that the majestic parade of the ministry reflected the development and construction reached by the security establishment in various fields.

President Al-Mashat recalled the security situation that prevailed in the past periods before the September 21 revolution when the bombings and assassinations were happening, until the extent of officers and security personnel refrained from wearing the official uniform for fear of their lives.

The security challenges today under the aggression are much greater than they were in any previous period,” he said, stressing the need to continue developing and rehabilitating the members of the security establishment to perform the duties and tasks for which they were found in the service of the people.

President Al-Mashat pointed out that the security services have today become a strong fence to serve the people, preserve their rights and protect them from crime, schemes and conspiracies of aggression.

He praised the role of society and its tangible cooperation with the security services, which is a key factor in achieving these successes.
