MARIB, Sept. 13 (YPA) – At least three gunmen were killed and six others wounded as a result of tribal confrontations erupted a few days ago in Marib province, eastern Yemen.
Tribal sources in Marib said on Tuesday that a tribal mediation succeeded in establishing a two-day truce between “Al Shabwan” tribe and “Al Munif” tribe, after days of armed confrontations between them in Wadi Abidah, southeast of the city of Marib.
Violent armed confrontations broke out a few days ago in which various types of weapons were used, including heavy weapons, between Al Shabwan family and Al Rashid Munif family in Al-Hesn area, against the background of a revenge case.
