Meteorology alerts sea-goers, fishermen of high waves within coming hours

SANAA, Sept. 11 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is alerted sea-goers, fishermen and ship captains in the Socotra archipelago of high waves during the coming hours.

In its weather bulletin on Sunday, the center warned again citizens in areas where rain expected to avoid being in the valleys and flood corridors, calling motorists to drive carefully as a result of low visibility on mountainous roads.

It affirmed that the weather would be partly cloudy to cloudy conditions on mountain heights, with scattered showers, in the provinces Hajjah, Mahweet Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea and Lahj, as well as to Bayda, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra.
