Saudi-led forces violate UN truce 182 times in just 24 hours

PROVINCES, Sept. 09 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries committed 182 violations of the UN-brokered humanitarian and military truce during the past 24 hours, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported, citing a military source on Thursday.

According to the source, the coalition’s violations included 54 flight operations with spy drones and war planes over the governorates of Marib, Taiz, Jawf, Saada, Hajjah, Hodeida, Dhalea and the border fronts.

The source indicated that 29 violations were monitored as the US-Saudi mercenaries fired artillery shells on the sites of the Yemeni Army and the Popular Committees, in Marib, Hajjah, Taiz, Saada, Hodeida and border fronts.

The coalition forces targeted, with artillery, the positions of the army and committees in in Al-Mazraq, Haradh, Al-Tina and Bani Hassan districts in Hajjah governorate, as well as targeting they army’s locations in Al-Malahait, Razeh, al-Boqa and Shada  districts in Saada governorate.

The source stated that the mercenaries committed 98 breaches by firing on the homes of citizens and the sites of the army and the popular committees in the governorates of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, Hodeida and the border fronts.
