Meteorology predicts varying rainfall in next 24 hours

SANAA, Sept. 07 (YPA) – Varying rainfall is likely to occur in a number of provinces during the next 24 hours, the National Center of Meteorology said on Wednesday.

The center stated in its weather bulletin that rains of varying intensity would fall on the mountainous heights of the provinces of Shabwa, Abyan, Lahj, Taiz, Dhalea, Ibb and Raymah, and might extend to rain in parts of Hajjah, Mahweett, Bayda, Hadramout, Mahra, Dhamar, Sanaa and Amran.

It affirmed that the winds would be very fast on the Socotra archipelago, ranging between 20-35 knots, and moderate to active on the southern coasts, Bab and Al-Mandab.
