Saudi activists launch verbal attack on UAE-backed Separatist Council in Aden

ADEN, Sept. 05 (YPA) – Saudi activists and experts on Monday launched a verbal attack on Aden and the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), in which they described Aden as a “city of chaos” and the STC as “bullying”.

Saudi expert Sulaiman al-Uqaili pointed to the period the city is going through as “the communist era made, considering that the reason that prompted the Riyadh Presidential Council and the coalition-backed government to leave the “stricken” city.

Saudi activists accused the STC of harming all political efforts and initiatives.

According to al-Uqaili, the scheme is exposed.

In the same context, media outlets citing diplomatic sources saying,” that Saudi Arabia has warned Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the head of the STC against taking any unilateral step to declare secession.

The Saudi ambassador informed Al-Zubaidi through intermediaries that any step in this direction; the STC would be burned before others.

Southern leaders, most notably al- Zubaidi and Abu Zara al-Muharrami, had boycotted a Saudi invitation to participate in the Riyadh-formed Presidential Council meeting in the kingdom’s capital.

The boycott coincided with the escalation of the STC on more than fronts.
