SANAA, Sept. 01 (YPA) – China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Wang Wenbin, accused on Thursday U.S of orchestrating a technological blockade.
The spokesman said in a news conference that restricting the sale of computer chips to Russia and China, the United States carrying out a technological blockade and trying to maintain its technological hegemony.
The US has repeatedly popularized the concept of the national security, a bused state power and tried to use its technological advantage to contain and suppress the development of emerging markets and developing countries,” he added.
“These actions violate the rules of the market economy and the global trade economic system, as well as undermine the stability of global industrial and supply chains,” Wenbin stated.
“China firmly opposes this,” he said. The United States politicizes and exploits economic, commercial, technical and scientific issues, and implements a technological blockade in an attempt to control advanced global technologies and maintain its technological hegemony, destroying global and interrelated production and supply chains. That is doomed to fail.”
The New York Times previously reported that the administration of US President Joe Biden imposed restrictions on the sale of a number of high-tech computer chips to Russia and China.
