Iran, Oman discuss latest developments in nuclear negotiations

SANAA, Aug. 28 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, discussed on Sunday in a phone call on Sunday, with his Omani counterpart, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, the latest developments in the nuclear negotiations in the Austrian capital Vienna.

According to the Iranian “Fars” news agency, the two ministers reviewed a number of bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.

The Iranian Foreign Minister had recently announced that the Vienna negotiations aimed at reviving the 2015 nuclear agreement are “in their final stages”, linking an agreement to the United States of America being “realistic”.

Iran stressed any new agreement should include the lifting of all sanctions imposed on it by the United States, which unilaterally withdrew from this agreement in 2018.
