Gunmen attack UAE-backed forces in Shabwa

SHABWA, Aug. 26 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen on Friday launched an armed attack on the UAE-backed factions in Shabwa province, southern Yemen.

This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on testimonies of local sources.

According to the local sources, unidentified gunmen opened fire at a security post belonging to the so-called the Shabwa defence forces in the Shougair area of Ain district.

The sources added that Emirati forces and factions are subjected to ambushes and armed attacks on daily basis.
