TASS: Number of Russian helicopters delivered to Mali

MOSCOW, Aug. 22 (YPA) – Russia had supplied Mali, which is fighting terrorism, with several helicopters and attack aircraft, Russia’s TASS news agency reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.

The source told the agency in a statement on the sidelines of the recent international forum “Army 2022”: “This is not military-technical cooperation in its purest form, it is a special project.”

The Army 2022 international military-technical forum organized by Russia’s Defense Ministry runs on August 15-21 on the premises of the Patriot Park near Moscow.
