Pro-coalition commander survives assassination attempt in Dhalea

DHALEA, Aug. 18 (YPA) – A commander, loyal to the Saudi-led coalition forces, survived on Thursday an assassination attempt in Dhalea province, south of Yemen.

Sources familier with the matter said the staff of the “Second Brigade Saiqa” war “Khaled Ahmed Mohsen” was targeted in Hajar area.

The sources added that a mortar shell was fired from inside one of the militia sites affiliated with the UAE towards Brigadier General Mohsen while he was inside the brigade camp, wounding 2 of his companions.
