Gunmen kidnap bank’s director loyal to coalition in Lahj

LAHJ, Aug. 17 (YPA) – Unidentified gunmen kidnapped on Wednesday one of the directors of the banks loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Lahj province, which is controlled by the UAE-backed militia.

Local sources in the province reported that a number of gunmen kidnapped the acting director of the so-called “CAC Bank Board of Directors”, Hashid Muhammad Al-Hamdani, in Al-Madhareba area, west of Lahj, while he was on his way to the city of Mocha.

The sources confirmed that the gunmen, who likely belong to Al-Sabiha tribes, set up a checkpoint on the coastal road, and took Al-Hamdani and his companions to an unknown destination.
