Saudi political writer attacks Al-Alimi Council

SANAA, Aug. 17 (YPA) – A prominent Saudi political writer launched a violent attack on the Saudi-formed Al-Alimi Council, leveling serious accusations that serve the fragmentation of Yemen.

A member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Association for Political Science, Suleiman Al-Aqili, said on Twitter “Presidency Council” led by Al-Alimi, working to deepen internal conflicts and fragmentation.”

Al-Aqili hinted that their expectations when forming the Council in Saudi Arabia aimed to unify visions and efforts, indicating that it was disappointing.

“Al-Alimi Council is seeking to impose a new reality that serves fragmentation and special agendas, without specifying the party that implements its agendas, and working to weaken the forces facing the Sanaa government,” he added.
