Army launches military offensive in Jizan

JIZAN, June 23 (YPA) – Yemen army on Saturday launched military offensives which targeted Saudi-backed militiamen in border front of Jizan, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The army repelled an infiltration attempt of the militiamen toward Qais mount, as well as the army waged ambushes that targeted the militiamen, killing and wounding dozens.

The infiltration was supported by coalition apaches caver which launched more than 22 strikes in an attempt to rescue its militiamen in Qais mount.

The militiamen tried to sink up from Saturday morning without achieving any significant progress.
