Organizing committee calls for broad participation in Ashura Day

SANAA, Aug. 07 (YPA) – The organizing committee on Sunday called for broad participation in the Ashura marches in Sanaa and the provinces to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Husayn, grandson of the Prophet Muhammad.

The airport Street has been set as a square for the march on Monday morning in the capital Sanaa.

In a statement, the Committee stressed the importance of gathering in these mass marches in the squares designated by the secretariat of the capital and the provinces.

The committee also called on the masses to come on time to avoid the variables of rainy weather in the capital and its suburbs.
