149 violations of UN-declared military, humanitarian truce recorded in Yemen

SANAA, Aug. 01 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 149 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Monday, citing a military source.

According to the military source, 42 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz, Hodeida, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Bayda, Dhalea provinces and border fronts.

The source pointed out that three breaches included air strikes of reconnaissance planes at citizens’ homes and army’s sites in Al-Barh area of Taiz, Al-Hamam Makan Akif area of Al-Fakhir district and Bab Ghalq area of Dhalea.

The mercenaries created new combat fortifications in surrounds of Marib city, and another breach was recorded by an infiltration attempt for coalition’s mercenaries at the army’s sites in Al-Ahtoob area of Taiz.

He also confirmed that 43 violations by an artillery shelling were recorded at the army’s sites in Marib, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida and border fronts.

The source mentioned that an artillery bombardment attacked the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi and Malaa areas of Marib, Hays and Tuhayta districts of Hodeida, Bani Hassan area of Hajjah, Sheda, Al-Madafin and Al-Malaheedh districts of Saada.

The source pointed out that an artillery shelling targeted sites of the Yemeni army in Al-Sakhrah area of Asir region, Al-Amood of Wadi Jara and Jabal Twailq areas of Jizan border province.

In addition, the source declared that 59 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida, Bayda, Dhalea and border fronts.
