SANAA, July. 31 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology has expected a probability of precipitation in some Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.
The center indicated in its forecast, that a chance of rain, accompanied by thunderstorm, would prevail over the provinces of Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Abyan and Bayda, Sanaa, Ibb, Dhamar Rayma, and might extend to parts of Marib and Jawf.
It stated that severe monsoon winds would be between 25-40 knots in the Socotra archipelago and 15-25 knots in the Gulf of Aden, the eastern, southern coasts and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.
The center warned citizens against being in the valleys and flood corridors, or water ways due to rain, as well as the low horizontal visibility on mountain roads as a result of low, thick clouds.
