5 injured in attack on Russian Black Sea Fleet HQ

WORLD, Jul. 31 (YPA) – At least five people were injured in a drone attack on the city’s Black Sea fleet headquarters Sunday morning, said Acting Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev.

“An unknown object fell into the courtyard of the  black fleet headquarters, and according to preliminary data, it is a drone,” Razvojaev wrote on  Telegram Channel .

Five staff members of the Russia’s Black Sea Fleet were reportedly injured and all received the necessary assistance.

The governor noted that Federal Security Service (FSB)’s agents are investigating the circumstances of the incident, and announced the cancellation of all planned ceremonial events in Sevastopol on the occasion of The Russian Military Fleet Day.

He called on citizens to “remain calm and stay at home as much as possible.”
