Gold prices witness significant decline in Yemen
SANAA, Jul. 25 (YPA) – Gold prices fell on Monday in the Yemeni goldsmiths markets, as the price of the gold pound in the capital, Sanaa, reached 230,000 riyals, while it hit 455,000 riyals in the southern province, controlled by Saudi-led coalition forces.
The last update of prices in the goldsmith shops in the capital Sanaa, according to the “Yemen Economist” website, is as to follow:-
– Price of one gram of Gold 24 karat: Purchase = 32,000 Yemeni Riyal (YER), Sale = 34,000 YER.
– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase =28,200 YER, Sale = 30,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 226,000 YER, Sale = 230,000 YER.
The updated gold prices in the goldsmith shops in Aden are as to follow:-
– Price of one gram of Gold 24 karat: Purchase = 64,000 Yemeni Riyal (YER), Sale = 70,000 YER
– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase = 48,000 YER, Sale = 53,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 454,000 YER, Sale = 455,000 YER.
