President Al-Mashat briefs on damage caused by rains in Sanaa

SANAA, July. 24 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mahdi Al-Mashat, inspected on Sunday the houses damaged by heavy rain in Madhbah area, west of the capital, Sanaa.

During his visit, Al-Mashat directed the concerned authorities to provide shelter and relief aid to families whose homes were damaged by heavy rains.

He also directed the treatment of those injured as a result of the demolition of a house in the MaDhbah area and to provide them with all medical and treatment services.

Al-Mashat urged the Mayer of the Capital to put in place appropriate treatments to drain rainwater, which would contribute to protecting the homes and properties of citizens.

On Saturday, heavy rain fell on the capital, Sanaa, and various provinces, which led to the death and injury of several people, including children, and material damage to the homes and properties of citizens.
