SANAA, July. 18 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center expected rain of varying intensity in most Yemen provinces during the coming 24 hours.
In its forecast, the center indicated the possibility of rain of varying intensity on parts of the internal hilltops of the provinces of Shabwa, Abyan, Bayda, Marib and Jawf.
It affirmed that maximum temperatures between (35-40) degrees Celsius would be on the desert areas and the interior plateaus and (30-36) degrees Celsius on the coastal areas.
The center stated that strong winds would disturb the sea and high waves in the Socotra archipelago and the southern and eastern coasts, the Gulf of Aden and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.
It warned citizens in areas where rain expected to avoid being in flood streams and water lanes, as well as drivers on mountainous roads from low visibility due to rain and low clouds.
