HODEIDAH, Jul. 16 (YPA) – Yemeni Coast Guard patrols in the Red Sea recovered bodies of four citizens who drowned while swimming in the sea during the past days of Eid al-Adha holiday.
Colonel Salman Jumaei, director of the Yemeni Red Sea Coast Guard, said patrols conducted along the coasts of Hodeidah province, where visitors came from all provinces .’
The Coast Guard patrols have also been able to brought back eight missing children to their families, he added
He stressed that the Coast Guards in the Red Sea sector took many security measures through deploying patrols equipped with teams of divers, rescuers and first aid providers along the coasts of Hodeidah.
Jumaei called on the citizens not to swim during monsoons that lead to changes in the tides of the sea.
