New Zionist aggression targets Gaza Strip

GAZA, Jul. 16 (YPA) – The Zionist occupation warplanes launched on Saturday several raids on the Gaza Strip in response to the firing of two missiles from the Gaza Strip towards the occupied territories.

The Zionist army confirmed, in a statement, that the raids targeted a facility for the production of rocket materials belonging to Hamas in the Al-Baidar area, south of Gaza City in the central Gaza Strip.

The statement added that one of missiles was shot down by the Iron Dome system, and the other landed in an open area, while no party has claimed responsibility for the launch.

The latest escalation comes hours after US President Joe Biden headed to Saudi Arabia from the Zionist entity and the Palestinian territories as part of a tour of the Middle East.
