UN appoints Vivian Perre as deputy head of UNMHA in Yemen

SANAA, July. 05 (YPA) – The United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, appointed on Tuesday, Vivian van de Perre of the Netherlands, as the Deputy Head of Mission of the United Nations Mission to support the Hodeida Agreement (UNMHA) and Deputy Chair of the Redeployment Coordination Committee.

Guterres expressed his gratitude for the important role played by the former German Deputy head of mission, Daniela Kroslak, during her dedication and leadership in the performance of her duties, “particularly during the period of great challenge in Yemen.”

Ms. Van de Perre succeeds Daniela Kroslak, who was appointed as deputy head of the UNMHA.
