2 civilians injured in blast of mine planted by coalition forces in Hodeida

HODEIDA, Jul. 03 (YPA) – At least two citizens were seriously injured on Sunday in Al-Durayhimi district of Hodeida province as a result of the explosion of a landmine left behind by the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition forces.

The Executive Center for Mine Action said in a statement that the citizens sustained various injuries while going about their daily lives in Deir Abdullah area of Al-Durayhimi district.

The center indicated that the number of casualties as a result of the explosions of the remnants of the aggression war from mines and cluster bombs in Hodeida rose during the month of June to 19 martyrs and wounded.

It attributed the reason to the lack of survey devices and equipment required to clean the infested areas due to preventing their entry by the coalition.
