Police find large quantities of explosives in Aden

SANAA, July. 02 (YPA) – Large quantities of explosives were seized on Saturday by the police in the city of Aden, south of Yemen.

According to Dar Saad Police director, Musleh Al-Dharhani, the explosives were found near the Heavy Transport Brigade, Amjad Khaled, loyal to the Saudi-led Islah party.

Al-Dharhani confirmed that “the security services were also able to seize an explosive device that had been planted on the road leading to Dar Saad police near Daoud Mosque.

UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council militias had arrested, during the last period, several members of the Transport Brigade and those close to Amjad Khaled, on charges of involvement in issues of undermining security and stability in the city of Aden.
