President Al-Mashat stresses on scholars role in raising awareness, guiding society

SANAA, Jul. 02 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Saturday stressed the role of scholars in directing and guiding society, and confronting foreign cultures and the soft war run by the West led by the United States of America to target societies .

This came during his meeting with the Mufti of Yemen, the scholar Shams Al-Din Sharaf Al-Din, and a group of eminent scholars.

The meeting discussed many important issues and topics related to people’s lives and improving their conditions, and how to enhance government performance to implement projects and services that citizens need in various sectors.

President Al-Mashat directed the concerned authorities to find appropriate solutions to the issues related to improving the lives of citizens.

“The stage that the country is going through in light of the international changes and crises caused by America, necessitates the state and the people to move diligently to work and build, and to go to agriculture in order to achieve self-sufficiency in the agricultural, economic and industrial fields to reduce the effects of those crises that pervade the world, especially Yemen, in light of the aggression and siege,” President Al-Mashat said.

For their part, the scholars praised the lectures and lessons of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, from the era of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, to Malik al-Ashtar.

They stressed the importance of benefiting from the lessons given by the leader, as they provide a method for managing the affairs of the state and people in accordance with the guidance, instructions and directives of Allah.
