RABAT, Jul.01 (YPA) – Morocco’s Ministry of Health said on Friday it singed a memorandum of understanding with the Zionist entity for the construction of several hospitals in the country.
The Ministry explained, in a statement, that these hospitals will be built in the southern region of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab and in the regions of Fez-Meknes, Draa-Tafilalet, and Marrakech-Safi with a capacity of 1,000 beds.
The two countries also pledged to implement bilateral cooperation between the private sectors in Morocco and Zionist regime, as well as promote investment and innovation in many areas, such as the health sector, according to the statement.
The Israeli IMS group is set to invest an estimated budget of MAD 5 billion ($497 million) for the design, construction, and equipment of some Moroccan hospitals.
