Army destroys 11 military vehicles, kills dozens of militiamen in Yemen’s western coast

HODEIDAH, June 22 (YPA) – The Yemen army launched military offensive which killed dozens of coalition-backed militiamen  and destroyed 11 military vehicles and armored in Yemen’s western coast of Hodeidah province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Friday.

The military operations of the army targeted during the past few hours the movements of the militiamen in the north of Mujilis and Durihimi district.

The army’s offensive hit military vehicles, loaded with militiament and invaders, after monitoring their movements in the Western Coast.

The army repelled two militiamen’s attacks, which were backed with intensive air cover, inflicting the militiamen heavy losses.

Dozens of the militiamen were killed and injured, as well as 11 military vehicles and armored were destroyed during the army’s offensive operations.
