France plans to reduce its representation at conference on Yemen

SANAA, June 22 (YPA) – France will reduce its representation at a ministerial conference in Paris on June 27, which  Saudi Arabia is a co-chairing it,  to discuss the “urgent humanitarian situation” in Yemen, French media outlets reported on Thursday.

According to a senior French diplomatic source, the conference will be “at the level of international experts” to prepare for a future meeting.

Another French diplomat confirmed that the attack on Hodeidah “made it more difficult to justify holding this conference, especially in the absence of all parties.”
