Fighters of “Ahmad”, Luhansk People’s Forces continue mopping up Azot’s lands

WORLD, Jun. 27 (YPA) – Sources reported that the forces of the Chechen special unit “Ahmed” and the Luhansk People’s Forces continue the process of mopping up the lands of the chemical plant “Azot” in the liberated Severodonetsk region, according to what the Russian media reported.

“We are cleaning up the territory of the plant. We find a lot of everything. Last time, eight or ten boxes were taken out of cartridges for a captured machine gun,” Novosti reported citing Russian officials as saying .

According to report, there are a lot of caches with weapons and ammunition of foreign production on the territory of the enterprise.

The infrastructure of the chemical plant is a very complex engineering system, including underground facilities, the report said.

Earlier, ambassador of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) to Russia Rodion Miroshnik said about 250 civilians, including children, had been evacuated from Azot on Sunday.

Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov also said that 800 civilians were liberated from the Azot plant in Severodonetsk.
