22 Chinese fighter jets penetrate Taiwan’s airspace

SANAA, June. 23 (YPA) – The Taiwan Defense Ministry announced that 22 Chinese warplanes penetrated the airspace of its island’s air defenses.

“Twenty-two Chinese army aircraft entered the southwest of the Air Defense Marking Zone on June 23, 2022,” the Taiwan Defense Ministry said in a statement on its website.

The ministry added that it sent an air patrol to monitor the situation, deployed anti-aircraft missile systems and issued radio alerts.

This came after about two days of monitoring the violation of 29 Chinese military planes in Taiwan’s airspace.
