HODEIDAH, Jun. 17 (YPA) – At least three children from the same family were injured on late Thursday citizen as a result of the explosion of a landmine left behind by the Saudi-led coalition forces in Hodeidah province, western Yemen.
The Executive Center for Mine Action said in a statement that “three children were injured in Al Hawak district due to a landmine explosion, left behind by the coalition forces.
The center called on humanitarian partners to play their role and pressure the United Nations Development Program to provide detectors to save the lives of thousands of civilians in many Yemeni provinces, noting that new victims are registered every day as a result of these remnants .
