Dead, 4 wounded in armed attack at hospital in Taiz

TAIZ, Jun 16 (YPA) – At least a person was killed and four others wounded in armed attack targeted a hospital in central of Taiz city, southwest Yemen, on Wednesday.

Local source reported that an armed gang led by Jalal Asaj and Mubarak Al-Wafi, believed to be affiliated with Islah Party, stormed Riyadh Hospital in Bir Basha area and opened fire randomly and hysterically at the employees and patients.

The sources explained that the attack resulted in the killing of the hospital guard, and the injury of four hospital staff, including the general manager, without giving reasons.
