SANAA, Jun. 06 (YPA) – Minister of Water and Environment, Abdulraqib Al-Shurmani, on Monday discussed with the UNICEF Resident Representative in Yemen, Philip Dumael, aspects of cooperation and coordination to implement water and sanitation projects.
The meeting touched on UNICEF’s plan for the year 2022, and its activities and projects in the water and sanitation sectors in the capital Sanaa and the provinces.
In the meeting, Al-Shurmani affirmed the keenness to coordinate with UNICEF to support the efforts of the Ministry of Water to provide water and sanitation services, praising UNICEF’s role and support for the water and environment sectors.
For his part, the UNICEF resident representative in Yemen affirmed the readiness to cooperate with the Ministry of Water and Environment and its bodies and institutions, and to support its efforts to continue providing water and sanitation services.
